Esme is all unpacked and all items ticked off the check list.I have checked for cracks etc and pleased to say there are none.

Helen K at Strand knitting has been greta replying to my emails today telling what to do 1st.

WD40 lots of rubbing to get the dirt andgrease off–there must be an easier way in 2010 sonic cleaning springs to mind so have emailed a company tonight to ask them if they fancy helping me .

The sense of history is quite profound and my DH has an Aunt who is 90 and to think this machine is older than her incredible –wonder  how many socks she ever knit.She has no rust at all and has been well looked after and kept out of the damp.Pictures tomorrow
