My name is Chrissie Day and I live in a converted 150 year old stone chapel in the middle of the North Peninnes in an AONB area.
I feel blessed to live here with the magnificent landscapes inspiring my work. I love writing, designing, and walking in the land around my home.
I find that living here and using fleece to produce my yarns from animals within a few miles gives me the best of all worlds. I write books, and design knitted and felted garments. I also design childrens knitwear for sale and for magazine companies.
I teach in Europe, Scandinavia and here at home in the UK.
